Westpoint, TN Please Read!

Hey,

I just got home from the monthly meeting. Well in a short story the TN EPA or TDEC is going around fining ORV Parks for silt getting in creeks and of course some other smaller issues. Well now that those parks are closed until they get a permit which takes a year to get they have started looking at a few other place. Westpoint has been around forever and hopefully will be for many more. But there is need for some change and will be. You should already notice we closed some trail that are near creeks and run offs. We have yet to get the report but we have 4 known problem areas. So closing the trail temporarily to get it fixed. We are holding a meeting in Westpoint on July 19th to discuss more and plan on it being a work day. I will need all the help I can get to fix the ATV trails or there will be no ATV trails. The club is about 50% dirtbike riders and mostly dirtbike riders attend the meetings. Guys we need to step up and take care of what we can to show we are trying to improve what is wrong. There will be a lot of work but it will pay off by keeping a nice place to ride. Please comment as I might send this to TDEC.
