I recently bought a 11' ranger crew and want to put a lift on it but don't want to void the warranty dealership said I can put rear ranger shocks in the front and a bracket on rear shocks and it would lift it up pretty good has anyone done this or know anything about it

I am in need of a utility vehicle than can pull a 2000 lb wheeled cart up a fairly steep ramp. The ramp has a 15% grade, approximately, and is about 60 feet in length. I´ve read that the Ranger has a max of 2000 lb towing capacity, but I was wondering what your experiences have been with maxing that out and what your opinion would be on if it could handle my situation multiple times a day.

RGMAN, I don't know what the grade on my driveway is, but it's steep - probably rises 25 to 30 feet in a 150-foot run - and I towed a fully-loaded 6,000 pound delivery van up it in snow because he couldn't get any traction. My stock 2011 500 EFI mid-size Ranger in 4WD never slipped a wheel, and never hesitated in low gear. I don't know if the Ranger is the machine for your job, but I know it is a really capable machine, and I believe the towing and carriage ratings are conservative. Good luck with whatever you choose.
