Boulders this SUNDAY MORNING --- Pics added 8/25/08 ---

Any body want to go on a "FAMILY FRIENDLY" outing (Kiddo's always welcome )

If we get there early we could get in 3 or 4 hours of Cool riding

And then maybe go grab a burger at the wildhorse for lunch on the way home

My family and probably a couple others are going. Open invite to anyone who wants to come along just let me know so we dont leave without you

We will be meeting at the "Wild Horse" cafe/saloon (On Lake pleasant road just south of carefree Hwy)
We want to leave the Wildhorse by 7:00 AM (or before if everyone is there)

If we know your coming we will wait for awhile. If your are a little late and we are not there, just head on out to the boulders. It'll take us a little time to get unloaded and on the trail so I'm sure you'll catch up to us.

The Boulders road turn off is west of Lake Pleasant on the carefree hwy, the first road just after the 12 mile marker on the north side of the road.

This is State Trust Land and a permit is required.
I have mine and bring it with me, I have never been asked for it, but you never know
(Better to have one and not need it, than to need it and not have one)

Countrygirl, would Sunday still work for you instead.

I have had 2 of the usual crowd contact me asking if we could move to Sunday instead.

Either day works fine for me

I will check with the hubby, Dont know if it will matter to him. I am still trying to get ahold of a permit, cant seem to find a way to get down there before they close, I guess the fine starts out at $300! and yes the permit has gone up to 50-75...they say a copy that I sent it in will not prevent the fine.

I will ask him if he has a preference in days and get back with ya. thanks!

not sure if you got my message, Tony says Sunday is fine. How big of a group is going?

EXCELLENT !!! SUNDAY IT IS (I'll change the post title to read Sunday)

Right now there will be 4 , (3 Rangers and 1 RZR) but you never who will just show up feel free to invite anyone you want.

I probably wont have access to a computer again until Monday !!!

Right now the radiator and oil cooler lines are out of my truck and the new Raditor and lines are suppose to be here 5:00pm. Hopefully I'll get it done tonight. otherwise I have to push it outa the way to use the alternative tow vehical (87 Jimmy with NO a/c )
But I will be there no matter what
CountryGirl and family are coming with their Ranger
John is coming with his RZR,
Chris and family might be coming with his Ranger,
Craig and family might be coming with his his Ranger.
And who knows if anyone is coming

Good ride ... Not too Hot ... done by 11:00. About an 11.5 mile loop (trails 6 to 9 to 11 to 9 to 5)
Then the group went and had lunch at the wild horse afterwards.
