Even though I am a fair weather Ranger owner who never, ever leaves the street, I also love this thing to death! We put about 5 miles on it today alone and today was not the least bit unusual. Son's house twice and Subway for lunch then grocery store later. This is way more fun than driving a full sized vehicle everywhere when it's not needed.

Yeah. I've had 7 Jeeps, 1 International and currently own a Land Rover DII. After I bought the 06 Ranger XP from a friend of mine who "upgraded" to a new 09 XP last August I caught the bug and now spend my days thinking of where I'm going to take this thing when I'm off work. Sometimes I just play hookie to go explore! Only use the Land Rover to haul the Ranger to the staging area. Dont want to get beat up driving the Land Rover down the road when I can fly down the same road without rocking and rolling myself to death.

I've found more cool places in AZ with this Ranger in the short months I've owned it than I EVER did with any of my 4wd beasts.

Now I've got a new (used) 08 as of last week. Sold the 06 to my buddy in Phx. We've got lots of trips planned out...trips that we used to do with the Jeeps/Rovers. It's sooo cool to get yourself in to an area that would otherwise take all day to hike or hours to Jeep...and now only takes a few minutes to get there.

Re: Can i just say how much i love my Ranger...

I have a Brittany I got right around the same time as I bought my RZR and she loves the RZR more then I do. At just under 2 years old now she bugs me to no ends sitting by the shed door and barking when ever I go past to tell me it is time to take a ride. She has boundless energy and we have a tractor road that goes all the way around 120 acres. I go 4 wheeling and she goes 4 footing running all the way in front of me and hopping back and forth between the patches she knows the grouse hang in.

I have clocked her at over 30 MPH on many runs and beginning around this time of year it is an almost daily event. There is a pond all the way up in the back and that's the highlight of her run because she always jumps right in and usually finds a few ducks to go chase. It is just over 3 miles all the way around and she would do a few laps if I had the time.
