07 ranger xp won't start without throtle
I have an07 ranger xp it won't start without putting foot on gasand when it does start it won't Idell until it gets hot. Dealer said to adjust throttle cable because there is a safety switch in throttle body. Did that, starts betterbut when warms up can't shift trany. The problem has been getting progressively worse. Any ideas?

i had pretty much the same problem. you said you can't shift the tranny...is that because the idle is too high?
Check your fuel filter/pump assy. in the tank. I swapped the whole thing out for a (much less) used one and it fixed the problem and then some.
