Tire Pressure

I was putting air in one of my tires today on my Ranger, and when I looked on the tire to see how much pressure to add it said to consult my manual. When I consulted the manual the numbers it gave was for 12" tires. My tires are 14" tires. Does anybody here know what the pressure should be? It was really standing tall at 15 lbs. I don't have a clue.

Re: Tire Pressure

I would think no more than 8-10 psi. The tire should say on it. Mine says 8 psi max. I run a 14" swamp lite.

Re: Tire Pressure

I would'nt put more than 10 lbs. in it. 15 is a little to much.

Re: Tire Pressure

I have 14 inch rims, 26 in. Bighorn tires, I checked my air pressure at the pressure they came from the dealer, and it was 13 P.S.I. On the tire it says to refer to the owners manual. It also says to not inflate them past 36 P.S.I. on the tire. I get a pretty good ride at 13 P.S.I.

Re: Tire Pressure

Thanks, y'all. I'll ease mine back some. I had no idea. I appreciate it a lot.
