Wiring on 2004 Ranger 500

I have taken pictures of the wiring under my hood of my 2004 Polaris Ranger. I'm not quit sure how to post the picture. But if you are good at understanding the electrical system and want to share your e-mail, I would be glad to forward the pic to you. Here's the question, I have to hook up extra spotlights and a winch to my Ranger. I have all the necessary hook ups for the winch except the red wire that runs the rocker switch. Can I hook that up to the red and white wire that comes on the harness after the ingnition harness? Second, there's a yellow wire that is attached to the wires that came from the factory that looks like it was designed to be hooked up for a electrical hot wire, can anyone tell me about this wire? What can I hook up to it, does it come of a relay etc.? Thanks, rjh50@aol.com

The way I hooked my winch up is off the accessory socket. It is only on when the switch is on . I don't know if a 04 has that. Another thing you can do is check the relays under the hood with a Multi Meter. Find the wire coming off of it only when the switch is on. Same with fuses as well. That is the things I look for. As for the lights I would add a fuse large enough to carry both lights. And put a toggle on the dash.
