Yah its on the left side of the engine towards the front. And the drain plug is either a 6mm or 8mm i cant remember.

The easiest way to reach the oil filter is to pop off that little louvered looking panel between right below the middle of the seat in the what I'd call the firewall. Just lift up on it and you can reach right through there to get the oil filter.

As far as the drain plugs, yes their extremely tight from the factory for some reason, at least mine were. Just be careful and with some force they'll pop loose.

Thanks for the input. I found that the oil drain plug was 6 mm and every other plug was a different size. I'll try that access panel next time. Now I just need to get the front wheel off to change the front gear case oil.

Its easier to drain it and then fill it through the vent tube. Buy a large syringe and pump it through the vent tube.
