Its actually fairly common for the 08 and 09 Rangers to sqeal a bit on takeoff. Its a side effect of the 3211118 belt. Usually they let up after 10 hours or so, but not always. One thing you can do is clean your clutches with isopropyl alchohol, using a clean white rag and keep doing it until the rag is turning black anymore. Then lightly rub your clutches with a grean scrubby pad to give it a little tooth.

If I remember right I was having the same problem when I got mine last year and the dealer suggested a slight adjustment on the gear shift cable that did the trick for me.

i took my belt of my 2008 ranger 700 and it was pn 3211118. i bought a new one and the dealer gave me pn 3211133.
Is this an updated belt? |
