2006 Ranger Cab Temp.
I have a 2006 Ranger 500 EFI that I just fabricated a lexan windshield for. I also have a soft top with back to help out with the dust issue. Being new to the Ranger world I was not aware of the cab heat that these additions would cause. I see from a few other postings that people mention a "vent kit" to help cool the cab and or engine compartment. I can not find any "vent kits" on the Polaris website. Anybody have the same issue and if so how did you rectify it? Part numbers? Thanks in advance...

I too have an '06 with a winshield, top and rear glass and it was getting pretty hot in mine. Then one day I was riding with shorts on and noticed that most of the heat was coming through the firewall. It's even worse when the fan kicks on. If you take a little time and stop up as many of the holes as you can it will make a huge difference.
