2010 Ranger xp headlight adjustment

How do you adjust the headlight's .......I know what the book says...but?

Where and how?

I never care what the book says and adjust my lights to where I need the most light for the speeds and conditions I ride in at night.

There are adjusting screws for side to side and up/down that the book can direct you to. I park in front of my white garage door about 20 feet away and make sure the left light gives me good illumination on the left side and the right does the same on it's side and both together split the difference in the middle. How far out in front you want the lights to show best is a matter of how fast you like to go and how tight your trails might be. If you like to rip through tight trails at high speeds then get a good set oh axillary HID lights to brighten up your night. Lights mounted up high and behind the roof line are fantastic for night running but around here they would get ripped off on the first run.
