What windshield do you use?
So when i bought my ranger it can with a curtis cab including windshield, roof, doors, and back window. During a trip out a couple of days ago and shattered my windshield while trying to bully past a tree branch. Incidentally directlyn after doing so, i installed an air conditioner(being in kodiak), odd coincidence. Anyways i am planning on replacing it but not with the oem glass. the glass is 600 and shipping to kodiak is another 600. So my plan is to use polycarbonate sheeting. It is supposed have UV protection, abrasion resistant and 250 times stronger than glass. It is used in hurricane areas and aircraft windshields. I know that plexiglass is cheaper but breaks in shards as opposed to polycarbonate that is more like safety glass if it breaks. I was able to salvage the rubber gasket around the original glass. Any input?

Just remember that the Polycarbonate will scratch when branches hit it or it you rub it with an abrasive cloth.

My windshield is a Polaris polycarbonate one, their lower-cost version. It's not great (wasn't made just right), but it does the job.
