2005 Ranger How do you change front brake pads
I took wheel off and stud on top looks to be allen wrench, the one on the bottom has a rubber seal? Can this be remover. How do you change pads by step. thank you

I have a 2007 but i think it's the same. I think you may need to remove the 2 bolts that hold the caliper on too. I think they are 1/2 inch hex head.The allen plug covers the pin that hold's the pads in. squeeze the piston back into the caliper with a pair of channel lock pliers slip the new pads in,put some neverseize on the bolts and put it back together. Hope this help's.

Thanks great info with photos, but I gave up before reading this and took it to dealer to replace front and back.
