2008 ranger need help
I have a 2008 polaris ranger 500efi. It runs ,starts fine. After it gets really heated up it runs rough and backfires alot. I have replaced air filters,spark plug and just had a guy adjust the valves. It only does it after starting to ride it pretty hard. Any help would be appreciated. I have about 200 hours on it with no trouble up to now.thanks

Maybe a weak point at the header/engine block junction... Maybe a mis-alignment with the carb body and the tubing. If you took that out it could provoke issues. I had that happen. It was a simple fix but took some time to isolate.(gunk in the butterfly valve) i would reseat and then take off the intake filter. open throttle cable to increase rpm and open butterfly valve. Spray a couple of short bursts in. Don't use too much or it will choke it out. it will die down slightly.
