2010 Ranger 500 HO Tires?????

I would like to know what type of tires and size I should go with.....I run the ranger mostly on fire road but do enjoy the odd mud hole, moutain rocks and lots and lots of snow.

Swamp lites 26"- $400 installed + 13% tax
Big Horn 26" - $575 installed + 13% tax

would 27" take too much umph out of the engine?

I got the roof from my local Polaris dealer, found it in the polaris book. I think I paid about $75..cnd. I love it, works great. I go through branches and think brush never had an issue. 1/2 of my friends run the soft top vs the hard top, my friend did crack a $350.00 hard top on a tree. It's made of a rubberized polyester type material, super strong. It flaps a little in the wind, I fixed this by adding a piece of velcro to the center of the front pipe.

I would stay away from the bighorns. Me and my buddies all went through a set of them. They are only 2 ply or something anything will penetrate them. Best tire we've found for woods riding is itp's bajacross they are 8-ply.
