For only $17.11, if you have a fully enclosed cab, this may work fine for you:
Do a google search for "o'reilly heater fan" and click on the first result. Or possibly 2 of them if you feel the charging system can handle it (rated @ 16amps each). I'm not sure about -18 degres but it doesn't get below 20 where I live for more than a couple or few days a winter. I'm sure it will also depend on how tight your cab is, if it's hard or soft doors, etc. But hey it may be worth a try for $17.11 each including tax lol. I have a fully enclosed hard Polaris cab but haven't installed the doors yet so I will let you know how the heater works out for me. |

I did install my doors.
The heater works great in my car while testing it but once I put it in the Ranger on a cold day it didn't seem all that good. I ended up returning it and I went with a Coleman GolfCat propane heater. After more riding I'm not sure if I'll even need one with the heat coming from the engine into the cab. I know the Summit heater is probably the best bang for the buck but I don't want the hassle right now. I know folks say its easy but I just don't want to mess with that yet. Plus I can use the GolfCat for other purposes. Again I don't know if I will even need it yet, it rarely drops below 30F here. So I haven't mounted it yet (doesn't fit in the cup holder). |

I've considered not mounting it but it sure will come in handy heating the cab when the engine isn't running.
If anyone else is using a Coleman GolfCat propane heater I'd be very interested in knowing how you mounted or secured it in the cab. Thanks. |

Here's how I ended up mounting it. I took out the cup holder and it fit perfectly in the cup holder hole! I'll velcro strap the handle to the window bar so it will be stable in the ruff stuff. Works great!
