need help

Ok my 07 ranger idles great runs great wide open but when I push the throttle it dies I have to feather the throttle to get it to go some times have to hold the break in and get the rpms up to go and that is not safe I've replaced the tps and the fuel pump so before I put more money in to this thing I was hoping someone could help and it also backfires please can someone help me

Carb or EFI?

I always recommend dumping some B12 Chemtool fuel additive into the gas tank and running it through the machine because that has worked very well for me. And it also works well for cleaning carbs when they get clogged up.

Sounds like water in the fuel tank. I use Heet or steal a half bottle of rubbing alcohol from the wife and throw it the tank to clear it out when it happens.

Yeah when I do the self diog on my dash it keeps bringing up 51 and 52 and that's the injectors so maybe I will try that cleaner
