Winch for ranger 800 xp

I am trying to decide between winches for my ranger 800 xp. Polaris offers a 4500 lb winch and warn offers a 4000 lb winch. I am skeptical of the Polaris HD 4500 lb winch being made in the USA. It is also $150 cheaper for more winch? Doesn't make sense to me. Any thoughts?

Warn is made overseas these days also.

I bought a Venom 4500 package on eBay for my Ranger, and I have no regrets. Got the winch, steel cable & synthetic line, two fairleads, a snatch block, long corded remote, replacement grille, and winch mounting plate for less than $300.

My Venom winch is made in China, but they all are these days. Anything with the Polaris name on it is grossly overpriced and very likely to receive little or no warranty service.

Check out ATV Outfitters.com . Best price on Warn winches, and free shipping on winches.

Check to make sure it's not just assembled in the USA. Good luck.

The Polaris 4500 winch is a Warn winch, but they are expensive. I have one on my 2011 800XP.
Check put the Viper winches and other accessories at, www.utvpartsandaccessories.com. They have winches with either wire rope(cable) or synthetic rope.
