Met the Distant Neighobors Tonight!

This is funny....

I will refer from calling them rednecks cause I think I am one at times. Some new neighbors has moved in across the street. They don't live in our subdivision but will call them distant neighbors. To make the story short I was woke up around 11:00 today with the sound of a racing four wheeler. I got up and did my normal. I looked outside and seen it was coming from the new neighbors that have been there less than a week. They was up and down the road all day and into the night. So tonight during the Alabama game around halftime I was tired of it. I stepped out on my front porch and my neighbor across the street " in our neighborhood" was standing on his front porch. I yelled at him and asked can you not keep it down and was joking. He said that the sound was keeping his baby up. And then another neighbor came out and said the same thing. So I came in the house put on some shoes and my wife saying you aren't going over there are you, " Oh yeah I said". I had, had enough . I got to the road and here came the 4wheeler. I tried waving him down, but that wasn't good. He pulled into his yard shut it off and took off running at me, I was about to lay him out or get laid out and then he started backing up . Asked what was wrong. I was nice and told him the reason I was there and asked if they could keep it down. I was then told they could keep it up till 11:00 p.m. cause they live in the county, their uncle was a huntsville cop and their dad owned the place for 20 years. I said what ever and that the neighbors with the kids getting woke up was going to call the police if they didn't stop. So I got dawg cussed and came back over to the neighbors. They was getting ready to come help me but never made it over. I told them what the conversation was and then the guys was back on the 4 wheeler, cursing and playing music loud. We know the owner of the residents and made attempts to call but never got them. I called the county sheriff and it took them 30 min to get here. we are 10 min from town. So we continue to get cussed and some older man came over that didn't witness it but was part of the bunch raising h*LL . He was trying to size me up, and also asked what the problem was. It was obvious as I told him and I said the police has been called. He goes back cursing at the other guys and tells them the police is coming. Well the cursing and music didn't stop till the cop pulled up. But it was funny cause at 9:40 and being too loud they was made to put the 4wheelers up and turn down the music.

I look forward for many more months of this. As of now I have the owners phone number. If I see fit I will post it here so it will get some attention. It is rude and I even explained that I have 4wheelers. But that is never good when someone is drunk. By the way Bama won the game during all this, got it on DVR though. Have a nice laugh at all this, we had 4 houses with both husband and wives out in the street. Great 1st week impression.

Re: Met the Distant Neighobors Tonight!

We are now ranked #2 that is for Alabama Football. The neighbors loaded the 4wheeler up yesterday and it is gone. We made some calls to the owner of the property and maybe the cops took care of the big issue! I hate to be a party pooper but when it is waking up baby's then it is enough.

I talked to the owner of the property today and he said we wouldn't be having any more issues. Hummm maybe they pissed off more than the local neighbors.

let me know if you have any more problems, I'll call from here in Texas and let them know they are bothering me too....

We had some similar issues on a a local forum and after tons of phone calls flooded the police department, the problem was solved immediately. no problems ever again.

Re: Met the Distant Neighobors Tonight!

Yeah I have been part of the phone calls before. A guy on a 4x4 forum ripped people off by selling a Dana 44 axle as a Dana 60 . He did this about 5 times. The difference in money is around 800-1200 dollars. A Dana 44 is worth at most for a front junkyard rebuild 250.00 . Needless to say his dad, neighbors and cops got phone calls. The ended up pulling the information from the forum where he sold the axles so they could prove him guilty.

I know I am kinda on hind teet responding to this, but it always helps if your neighbors think you are crazy and dont want to piss you off. I have several that as a rule keep their distance and then the rest of us have a good ole time! I even get along with the Cheif of Police that lives 3 houses up from me.
