Hey everyone. I am new to this site. I am considering purchasing a new Polaris 800. Any overall comments about climbing power, being top heavy or anything thing else? My property is 6 acres and half is on a hill with a lot of trees. I currently have an ATV and I want something more versatile but I want climbing power and I don’t want it to roll over. Any advice? Gary from California

Re: recommendation
Wish I could offer an opinion, but I can't really say. We love our 700 and it has never let me down for power and I have never rolled it.

Re: recommendation
They all can roll over lol lol lol..... I test drove the 400 it's a good machine and was suprised at the power.... only a two seater though and carburated, both reasons that I opted for the 800 and the 800 was only 1500 more so that was a no brainer for me... Good Luck in your search.... my best advice is to only look at the Polaris Machines the other Manufacturers are lacking much other than repairs.... I did extensive research and was all ready to go with an Arctic Cat Predator but IMO they have too many drivetrain issues currently....

Re: recommendation
What is the power difference between the 800 and 500? Is it worth the extra money?

Re: recommendation
One more question. Does the 800 unit fit inside the box of a pickup? Any experiences? I have a short bed but if it fits width wise I can leave the tailgate down.
