Stalling
2008 700 xp if the emergincy brake is on machine stalls out which i would think is normal. But this also accures when when we run through water. Water dept just above floorboard. Had a winch on it with loose connections. Removed winch and put it on my commander with no problems. Hadn't tried it sence removing winch. Someone told me it could be a short in the fan connection when it gets wet. What we do is shut the bike off and restart and it works ok for a little while but when we stop again it will start stralling again. Has anyone had the same problem?

The parking brake has a rev limiting feature to protect the belt. As for the water you are getting water in a connection somewhere directly related to the ignition. I wouldn't be looking at the winch or the fan myself. I'd look at the coil pack, coil wire and related wiring and connections. Maybe even put water in a spray bottle and spray them down pretty good trying to replicate the scenario.
