2010 crew reverse light
2010 Ranger Crew reverse light
• Need to use any type of driving light as long as it has two wires (positive/negative)(I put two lights-one under each side of box) • Need a standard automotive relay with 4 or 5 pins on it. I got mine from Radio Shack. Pin numbers are 30, 85, 86, 87, 87a (87a is not used if your relay has it) • On the drivers side under the dump box, there will be a harness feeding your taillights. • This has two spade ends coming out of it. One has a purple wire on it, and the other has two red/white wires on it. • Wire the relay as follows to achieve a reverse light: • Pin 30 – connect to positive (+) wire(s) of light(s) • Pin 85 – to purple wire of harness • Pin 86 – to the red/white wires of harness (HINT: leave extra pigtail for hot lead for future whatever, since this is always KEY HOT) • Pin 87 – jumper from pin #86 *Light(s) should come on when in reverse *ground light(s) with negative wire(s) to frame/chassis |
