Transmission service
I just can't get enough of this site and all the excellent help. I hope to one day be giving instead of taking advice:
My Polaris shop is out of the AGL that is supposed to go in the transmission and they offered me some snowmachine stuff that was the second best option but I chose to wait and see. I saw on another forum some discussion of using synthetic motor oil in the transmission of some polaris machines but these were 4 wheelers. Is there any magic ingredient in the AGL for the transmission? I don't have access to Amsoil here so pretty much Mobile 1 synthetic is the motor oil I have access to at car parts store. I already bought Polaris motor oil before I found out that Mobil 1 is a good alternative. Thanks again, Joe

Re: Transmission service
I had a polaris tech and manager tell me that the Rotella Brand is a good brand to use also. But Currenly I use the Polaris Brand. Also one of our sponsors can send you Polaris Brand oil if you need it.

Re: Transmission service
I guess I would have thought that oil could not be mailed. Will check with sponsors. Have a long list of things to get from sponsors now.
