2005/06 Ranger XP part Needed. HELP
On the 2005/06 Ranger XP's there is a sure power box aka ECM under the hood mounted on the left side. (silver box with fins and it has two plugs of wires plugged into it one at each end) My box shorted out and burned the lower plug so I can't use it and Polaris says you have to buy a complete wiring harness to get it. Way to expensive for just a plug that can be pig-tailed in. The plug has 14 holes in it so it's called a 14 pin. If anyone know's where I can find a salvage yard for Rangers or if anyone knows maybe where to get one of the plugs like from a Ranger that's caught fire or damaged beyond repair or just whatever I could really use a plug cut off an old harness or where to get a new one and build my on pig-tail. KID THERE IS A CONNECTOR AVAILABLE RIGHT FROM YOUR GM DEALER PART #15326917 FOR ABOUT 10$. IVE HAD THE SAME ISSUE I NOW NEED A NEW MODULE TRIED THE CONNECTOR FIRST. YOU WILL HAVE TO INSTALL NEW PIN TERMINALS FOR THE DAMAGED ONES AND JUST REUSE THE OLD ONE IF THEY ARE NOT DAMAGED. GOOD LUCK
