Re: 2006 fan acting weird

Is there any chance that the radiator fins are plugged with mud? This seems to be a common problem with the sportsmen"s and I occationally have to hose out the ranger too. The other thing I have done is to take the fan's off and put a little oil in the bearings when they get noisy. Just be careful not to get oil on the brushes.

Re: 2006 fan acting weird

Perhaps a bad or poorly seated ground? Does it actually overheat and turn off? Could be a faulty thermistor sensor too.
