vibration

I just got a ranger 400 a few days ago and noticed the same thing when I slow down and stop. It vibrates and then goes away after a few seconds

My 2010 vibrates pretty good when there is nothing in the box. Has since new. 2 years later and 120 hrs it hasn't gotten any worse. Kind of anyoing. Get a little weight in it and it settles down though. If you have ever pulled the box off you would under stand. It bloody heavy and all that holds it down is the 2 hinges and 2 latches. Hard to keep it solid with the rest of the machine.

Put some padding (like duct tape) on the bed latch and that should help.

I have a 2012 ranger 400 ho. It tends to make noise and vibrate, and a lot is coming from the bed. I opened it the other day and found that the lift cylinder was causing the majority of the vibration. There is a lot of slop in the pins on both ends. I am not using the bed much, so I pulled out the cylinder (easy two clips and two pins) and the the vibration from the back is gone. It has also made cleaning a bit easier, since the bed tips back a few inches further allowing better access.
