Glacier Plow Wiring Question

I purchased a 2006 Ranger 500 that has the Glacier Plow with winch shutoff switch. The problem I am having is if I connect the wires from the plow shutoff switch to the winch wiring harness the winch will no longer operate. When the remote is pressed (in or out) all you hear is a "click". If the wire is not connected the winch works as it should but I can't take advantage of the shutoff feature. Does anyone have an idea of what may be wired incorrectly to cause this? There are two pig tail connectors under the hood coming from winch control box which should hook to the shutoff switch and logically I have connected black to black and white to green but that does not work. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Apparently, some cutoff switches can be wired to be normally open or normally closed. Perhaps yours is set up to be normally open instead of normally closed?

At any rate, I would contact the manufacturer and ask for help. They should know their products best - hopefully.

No limit switch

Just FYI the instructions said my Glacier setup came with a cut-off switch, but none was included. I've been running mine fine without one, but I am careful toward the Cable IN/Plow UP limit. Hope you get yours figured out.
