Howdy from Missouri
Hello from two sides of Missouri ! Kinda' sounds nutty I know but I work in St. Louis and then commute to Table Rock Lake down by Branson in SW MO every other week or so. I got this fever a long time ago called bass
' and now I'm going to be using my XP, which I'll get in about a week or so, to get from my place at the lake down to the dock where my boat is kept and also to help keep my place up down there. I know it might be overkill having a XP to go back and forth about four miles to a boat dock but I have to get out on a County road with a speed limit of 45 mph and after watching other folks from the area about get run over in their sloooowww golf carts I decided the Ranger with the 50 mph top speed ( I hope) will be just the thing. Our locale at the lake is very rocky and I'm always needing to move rocks, cut trees and brush, spread fertilizer etc etc so also needed a workhorse and Ranger looks like it will fill the bill. Been impressed and kind of awestruck by the mods you folks have made to your Rangers and since I'm also a car nut and former hard core dirt biker I know I'll be looking into tires/wheels, bumpers, brush guards, lift kits and all that good stuff. Going to keep it pretty basic right at first with a good 4500 lb winch ( those big rocks and trees ), maybe an upgrade to some 14" wheels and tires that will take kindly to on and off pavement use and a top and some kind of windshield. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated from you experienced owners and wrenches. Appreciate the site and it helped greatly in reaching my decision on what brand UTV to purchase. Looking forward to further reading and interaction with all of you. Thanks.

Re: Howdy from Missouri
Welcome to Polaris Ranger Forum! When you get your new ride get us some pictures up from your area. Also check out the chapter section as well. You might find some locals from your area.

Re: Howdy from Missouri
Welcome, glad to have you here. I am sure you will like the Ranger much better than a golf car.
