New member, new owner, Hello from Minnesota
Just picked up my 1st side by side. 2010 Polaris ranger. Picked it up last night. Can't wait to test it out on the trails. Am in central Minnesota. Definitely different from riding 3 and 4 wheelers from past times. Shopping around for windshield, top and winch. Any recommendations?

Re: New member, new owner, Hello from Minnesota
Welcome Bearcatrp!
So now the fun begins! Many here have gone before you and there is plenty of info on all the accessories you might want. If you are a DIY person than do go to the fabrication forum and check out what some of us have built ourselves. Windshields can be pretty easy and allot cheaper if function is the rule and you are not looking for fancy fit and finish. A full sheet of Lexan Polycarbonate can make 2-3 windshields and you can get it in 1/4 inch thickness so it will be a bit stiffer and tougher. Our forum sponsors section has some nice deals for us and the Viper winches are a great deal. There are many companies making accessories for our machines but start here with these sponsors before you jump with unknowns. They will take care of you any way they can and try harder for the good advertisement after the sales. Don't be afraid to ask questions and if you ask them in the right forum section there is always someone here to respond. Gary

Re: New member, new owner, Hello from Minnesota
Hey, How do you like your machine? I have owned PRs for about 3 years now and have just upgraded to a 700XP. I love it. I use mine on the farm working alot but enjoy riding also. I am going to buy windshield and roof soon before weather gets cold.
