09 Polaris 500
Hello from Kennerdell Pa. I Just purchased my first side by side. I always heard good things about the Polaris models. I purchased a 2009 Polaris ranger 500 EFI. I have a Honda forman, but wanted something my wife, grandson and my self can ride in together. Also want to use it around the property and for hunting, This unit has 270 hrs on it which I figure is pretty low.It also has hard top, hard front windshield and glass, and hard rear and glass. It has a 4500 lb warn winch.I am purchasindg a 72 in plow also. We got it home around 8 pm and immediately took it for a 1 1/2 hr ride. It rides and handles great. Hope to get a lot of enjoyment out of it.

Welcome to the forum! I am sure you will love your Ranger and get hundreds more hours of use from it. I ordered a 66" plow for my 2011 Ranger 500 EFI [mid-size], but when it ended up on long-term back-order [apparently such a popular blade that the factory couldn't keep up with orders!] I also picked up a spare frame and a 60" all-steel Glacier plow. I used it for some minor dirt work - minor for a machine, would have taken me hours by hand - but now we've already cleared a good 18" or more of snow with it. The 60" Glacier plow is too low to be a good snow blade, so I'm happy that my dealer called today to say the 66" Glacier II Snow-Glide is on a truck, on the way!
