Where to ride in New England?
Hi, I'm new to the forums and am thinking of buying a RZR. I live in Western, MA but will be travelling to where I will be riding. I'm curious if there are any hot-spots that you recommend. I snowmobile up in Pittsburg, NH so I know I will go there from time to time but it is a 5.5 hour drive so it won't be every weekend. Where do you ride and how are the trails? I'm open to riding in NH, MA, ME, or VT.

Re: Where to ride in New England?
Sorry I can't be much help here Pete but welcome to PRF.
NY is one of the worst states for off roading and most of the new england area is highly restrictive of our sport. If I didn't have our hunting club property to ride then I wouldn't even own an atv at all. Check out the Jerico, NH area and let us know. It is in it's infancy right now but should be getting better and better as places come on line. Around here we have a few clubs that sponsor some nice rides but they are mostly pay as you go and often quite pricey when you consider two in a machine at $75 each for a day of riding. Check out clubs in your area and see what they have to offer. If you get zapped here in NY where you don't belong then you pay a heavy price and it is a big bone of contention here as to why we even have to register them when there is no state land to ride on. Re: Where to ride in New England?
Hi Spaceman and welcome to the forums.
That is great to hear about the Otis, Mass. area but can you give us more details about it? I have a few questions that need answers before we can feel safe about coming up to do some riding in your area. Is this a private park or a state run area and do they charge a fee to ride? Do the machines need to be registered and/or insured? Are out of state riders allowed? Please keep in mind that we cannot inform our members of places to ride where the property is not truly open to riding. We never recommend to our members places where they will be trespassing on privately owned property and could face law enforcement issues. Where I live in NY the mountains are full of miles upon miles of trails and I could ride all day and every day as long as I don't get caught. Post up some details so we know the area is open to riding so we are not sending our members into trouble. Thanks and we look forward to hearing more from you about this spot. Gary

Re: Where to ride in New England?
With a simple non-resident registration there are thousands of mile's of legal trails to enjoy in Maine. I did 252 miles over memorial day weekend out of my camp yard ,All day trips, gas stations ,resturants, picnic areas, never less than 100% legal.
