Hi bob ny here from nys I am waiting delivery of a new Polaris utv 400 ranger,I had three heart attacks in June of 2010 which left me unable to use my legs .After 95 days in different hospitals i could move in a wheel chair and semi walk with a walker. Home rehab had gotten me to walk about twenty feet on smooth surface. i live in the middle of the woods on top of a mountain and have wood roads that i cut over the years, I Know i will never be able to walk through my woods again. I bought a utv thinking iI will be able to see my mountain again. last Monday i fell in the house and split my knee .14 staples and 10 stitches later I am back to the wheel chair with a soft cast on my leg. But i am determined to be back in the woods soon . i have a zillion questions about atving . I hope I can find some answers here thank you for listening to an old geezer rant . i don't get out much any more lol bob w.

Welcome. I purchased a 400 Ranger a few months back. Not sure how many questions I can answer, I am enjoying the new toy. Hope the knee get well soon.

I'm a Bob from New York too

You made a good choice Bob. My wife and I both suffer from sever artheritis and use our Ranger XP to enjoy our 42 acres in Adirondack Park.
We had our property logged last summer and our Ranger is amazing in terms of dealing with the skidder ruts and mud left by the logging. I think you could climb a tree with that thing!
Enjoy and if I can be of any help please ask.
