Hi everyone. This is one of my few posts but I have been lurking around here for awhile now. RangerFourms is part of my daily startup routine at work. I look at all new posts before I begin my day. Anyway down to the reason for this post.
My wife is a school teacher and she has submitted a project to Donors Choose which is an organization that helps provide items to schools based on teacher submitted requests. She submitted a project 2 years ago to obtain books for her classroom and was fortunate to have that request granted and funded. Well she is back at it again. Starting last year she began teaching in a brand new building within her school district and has been blessed with a clean new classroom and children eager to learn. The school does not have the funds to purchase computers for the classrooms so she has created a new project requesting 2 Netbook computers for the children to use while in her room.
How you can help is very simple. If you take a few short minutes to follow the link and “vote” for her project she will have a chance for Sonic and Donors Choose to fund her request. It costs nothing but a few minutes of your time.
The project can be voted on daily per email address so if you are moved to please vote often. If you only vote once your vote will still help her reach the goal. Projects are funded based on the number of votes received.
I hope no one was offended by my request and I sure hope you all take the few minutes to vote. If anything it is for the children.
