2009 Ranger XP problems

I have a 09 Ranger 700 XP with less than 5 hours but it has never run right for more than 15 minutes. Check engine light comes on and motor loses power, back fires and shuts down. Code 21 "loss of synchronization" comes on gauge. Been to the dealer who said it was a lose battery cable but problem was not fixed. They say it doesn't act up when test riding and they don't know what to do. Looking for suggestions. I've been told to have them check the "crank position sensor", "TPS", and "Tbap sensor". Any other ideas or anyone else with this problem. First experience with Polaris but so far disappointed.

Re: 2009 Ranger XP problems

Dealers make your experience good or bad. Sorry that you got a bad service department. I would take it back, tell them if they can't get it right that you will be filing a complaint due to the lemon law. And most of all mention being on Polaris Ranger Forum and it could work out good or bad for them.... So all this aside....

Have you checked all your plugs for loose connections. Check all sensors and make sure they are plugged in good. Let us know what you find.

Josh
