Time for new battery
Well, it is time to replace my oem battery which has died. What is everyone going with? I prefer to get something to fit into the original battery box.

Yuasa's are pretty good batteries in the industry. Not a bad replacement choice. Is yours a factory battery, about 3 years old?

I replaced the battery on my RZR last fall. I just took the battery to Walmart and got a new battery that had the same numbers. I have had good luck buying batteries from them. I have enough toys that I buy a new battery each year from them. They usually last 3-5 years. If I keep them charged up they last longer. The battery I got for the RZR was identical to the Polaris battery but it did not have the Polaris name on it.

Around here the ATV dealers do not stock batteries so WM is the only choice. The dealer told me the WM batteries are junk and expected me to waited a week for him to order me one. The WM battery was made in th eUSA by the same manf as the oem battery was, Yusa.
There are only a handful of manf. of batteries, many well known brands are all made by the same manf., Battery recycling is the main reason. Last edited by Z71; 01-30-2011 at 11:15 AM. |
