performance mods for 04 ranger?
I have a a new to me 04 ranger 500 4x4 and was wondering if there are any cost effective mods for my ranger. Thanks in advance for any info.

I am also a recent 04 owner as well. Have been fixing things up and using some great mods from here. I just had a big idea for a roof and back. being cheap, I bought and old pick box liner for 5.00 and cut the front for the top and used the middle ribbed section for the back. Had to heat the front with a heat gun to straighten out the 90 degree bend in the front. I added a piece of plywood underneath the top to reduce flex. I cut it with a sawzall (easy). The job only took a few hours and works very well. Am going to add the flaps a la GLfolts above. Hope it helps.
