Future ranger owner

Got a question or two for the current Ranger Xp900 owners.

I've had a rzr for the past couple yrs. just sold it today and about to pull the trigger (liberals please don't take offense) on a new 900 XP Ranger. Just wonder if anyone has any advice, will I be sorry for the switch. I don't do extreme riding. I ride with my family and enjoy a nice long leisurely trail ride with them. I averaged 7 mph in my rzr.

Looking really seriously at the Orange Madness version. Just wonder if there are any downsides to this model such as the white pieces on the seat not coming clean after getting muddy.

Any concerns for putting seats in the bed for an occasional ride when my kids small rzr 170 won't handle the trails. I know there are restrictions in some states/areas on this but I live/ ride in Arkansas and never heard anything about this being restricted.

Thanks for any and all insights.

There are plus/minus to every UTV, I think the 900XP is the best money can buy at the current time.

Only thing you really need to know is don't get water in the left side air vent as you will get the belt wet and slip it.

What RZR did you have? If a 800RZR then power will feel snappier on the 900XP but not quicker, if you had a 900RZR then the Ranger will feel like a slug.

With what you have described as your riding type. You will be more then 100% happy with a 900 Ranger. They have a lot of low end power right off idle and sip on gas when just going slow.
It will get up and go when you want it too.

Thanksfor the replies. I had the 50" standard rzr 800. Finally settled on the Orange Madness Ranger w/ EPS today. If all goes as planned should have it Saturday. Looking forward to putting some miles on it.

I have the orange madness, and love it!! I am coming off and 800 outlander xt max. Not as fast as the outy, but if i wanted fast, i would have gotten the 900rzr. Have fun accesorizing the new toy. Hope i spelled that right. Anyway, enjoy...

I went from the can am commander 800 to an xp900. I miss the seats! but the ride is a lot smoother at slower speeds, we ride usually around 10mph and the can am belt couldn't handle it it high range, in low range it was just too loud. the xp900 is smooth and quiet, just feel like i have to hold myself into the seat

I also switched from a RZR. I had a RZR900xp and i dont miss it that much. I have a 6 year old and its nice to have the bench seat so my wife and him can go with me and with the large bed we can take our dogs also. I am happy with mine. I love the power steering.
