2008 RZR 4 Wheel Drive Problem - HELP
Hi, We have a 2008 RZR. When we put it in 4-wheel drive the front wheels will not spin and we vertually have no 4-wheel drive. We still have power in the electrical system. We are being told that we have to replace the entire front 4-wheel drive unit at a cost of about $900 for the unit only. We are wondering if anyone else out there has had this problem. We have about 3000 miles on this machine. We are retired and drive for pleasure. We don't abuse the RZR. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

The price you were quoted was for a complete gear case. I have seen the roller cage come apart in these causing the 4 wheel drive not to work, most of the time this is the part that fails. The part # is 3234466 for the cage assembly.
