Oil change and getting ready for the spring

I decided to take a day and go through all the maintainance at once on my RZR.

I want to change all the fluids in the engine, transmission and front and rear differentials and the first order of business was to get the new oils.

First I got a price for everything from my local Polaris dealer. I don't honestly trust polaris oils and figure what ever oil manufacturer/refiner bids the lowest price is the one who gets to fill the polaris jugs.

Next I contacted our Amsoil sponsor here, Z71, down in the sponsors section. I like Amsoil and trust their products.

Our sponsor easily beat the price from my Polaris dealer and thats with having all the stuff delivered UPS to my door.

I posted the exact Polaris part numbers and the correct Amsoil equivalants up top in the RZR section if anyone is interested.

I think it is a big plus when we can buy excellent lubricants for less then the dealer charges and at the same time save myself a 60 mile round trip to and from the dealer.

I will spend most of a day dropping the skids and going through the entire machine making sure all is ready for the upcomming season.

Gary
