RZR 2 is a 4
Well, my original RZR is a gen2 with 4000 miles. I decided it was time to add another one to the fleet. But I couldn't decide whether to get a standard RZR or an "S". So what the heck, I got a RZR-4. Now it's just like in the car, I can get instant (requested or not) driving instructions and directions.
I've only got 150 miles or so on it. A lot of that just on back roads and fields. My first observations are: 1.)Wow, definitely a better ride, I don't know if it's the long travel suspension or the added wheelbase but it rides very nice. 2.) With just myself or one passenger on board, it accelerates about like my standard RZR, tops out a little faster but takes quite a while to get there. There's still lots of power to kick the back end around when needed. If you start filling the back seats you can notice the extra load, both in acceleration and handling. But I guess that's what you'd expect on any vehicle. 3.) The back seats are more comfortable than I thought they'd be, and the view from the back seats is quite good as they're higher than the front seats. Even kids in the back seats can see well. 4.) It's still made in the USA but with a huge amount of overseas and Mexican parts. I wish there weren't so many foreign parts, but I don't know how to stop it. I certainly will mention it and maybe the manufacturer will at least be aware of my dissatsfaction. 5.) So far it seems almost as maneuverable as my 2 place, but turning around on a trail will be a challenge.
Overall, more people can make for more smiles, grins and screams.
I'll be out there giving it a good tryout, I'll report any new, good, or bad points as the miles pile up. And not to worry, I've got my back seat drivers there to point them out to me.
