Extreme Metal Products Heavy–Duty Steel CV Protectors in Black Powder Coat

We took the Ranger for it’s maiden voyage on a quick run around the deer lease the other day and the plastic CV boot protectors from the factory lasted about 15 minutes before we ripped one off, leaving the CV joint boot exposed just waiting for a stick to damage it.

I got so busy helping the boys get lined out on the project, that I didn't take but a couple of pics during the front install... There really wasn't a lot to it; jack up the Ranger, bolt on the protector and that was pretty much it.

After jacking up the Ranger, and putting a jackstand under the rear receiver hitch; remove the wheel. Once the wheel is off, you'll see a small plastic factory rear CV guard that needs to be removed.

EMP's rear CV protectors are a two piece design; consisting of a large skid plate and a steel CV guard to replace the flimsy plastic one removed above.

Once the large skid plate is bolted in, then install the CV boot guard right behind the sway bar link.

How many S.M.I.T.'s does it take to put a wheel on? Two - one to lift the wheel into position, and one to align wheel studs.

Now we are ready to hit the trails without having to worry about the CV boots getting ripped to shreds!

Extreme Metal Products 2009 Polaris Ranger Roof Installation

Package Contents: Roof, clamps, light and detailed instructions.

During installation of the interior LED light, we were concerned that we might get a little rattle out of it, so we dabbed a small bit of silicon RTV where the light was going to set, then screwed the mount into place.

Install clamps onto roll cage. Be sure and install the front and rear center ones directly over the roll cage joints.

Re: It's so easy a kid can do it....Ranger Build

A ten year-old boy was walking down the street when a big man on a black Polaris Ranger, pulls up beside him and asks, "Hey kid, wanna go for a ride?" ? ?
"No!", said the boy, and he kept on walking. The driver pulls up to him again and says, "Hey kid,, I'll give you $10 if you hop in" ? ?
"NO!" said the boy and proceeded down the street a little quicker. ? ?
The driver pulls up to the boy again and says, "Ok kid, I'll give you $20 and a BIG bag of candy if you hop on for a ride." ? ?
At this point the boy turns around to him and screams angrily, "Look Dad, YOU bought the Ranger, so YOU ride it!!

EMP 2009 Polaris Ranger Cab Back Installation

We wondered how a full cab back and window could be in such a compact box.

That is, until we got it open and saw how clever it was packed!

Set the upper section on top of the lower and bolt them together.
