2005 ranger fuel pump problem
Hello my name is Jim. I have a 2005 ranger 700xp. It starts and idles fine and will run up to about 25 mph then stops accelerating. The dealer said the fuel pump was out and to replace it, I would have to replace the tank and all. It would cost about 500$ for all parts. Is this standard procedure or can I get a fuel pump alone and not the tank?

On my 2006 500 4x4, the fuel pump sits right on top of the fuel tank, under the seat (right side of machine). No reason why I'd even think of replacing the tank and all.
