This is a discussion on Riding on the Beach within the South East Chapter forums, part of the PRF Chapters category; I am from Kentucky, have a vacation coming up to Florida and wondered if there is a beach that you can ride Rangers on. Thanks!...

Re: Riding on the Beach
You gonna pull your Ranger to Florida or rent one down there?

Re: Riding on the Beach
I live on the east coast in Florida and I am not aware of anywhere you can ride on the beach. Daytona Beach allows cars on the beach in a designated area, but I have never seen atv's there.

Re: Riding on the Beach
LOL, You could bring your machine up here to Sullivan county NY and ride on the snow covered roads that have enough sand and salt to qualify as a beach! Guaranteed to rot your machine in a few short years if you ever dare take it near the salt water.
I don't go on these roads except to cross mine while plowing the snow but I can see where ever the salt sits gets to surface rust real quick and it is pretty tough to wash it off any time soon with temps in the 20s. Every spring I do search for a good fast running stream and ride right down the middle as deep and fast as I dare in the hopes of getting the salt washed off and out. You should see the destruction it causes on our cars and trucks and there is nothing that we can do about it. If I lived right on the beach you can be sure it would be the last place I would drive my machine. Gary

Re: Riding on the Beach
There are some beaches in Jacksonville and surrounding area that you can drive on. I think some of them are State parks and its been several years since I was there. You can search the area I guess and find out about ATV's.
