This is a discussion on half windshield pros and cons???? within the South West Chapter forums, part of the PRF Chapters category; Anybody have any advice on a half windshield? I think I want one, but an concerned with it causing dust to collect in the cab....

half windshield pros and cons????
Anybody have any advice on a half windshield? I think I want one, but an concerned with it causing dust to collect in the cab.

Dust is going to collect in the cab if you have a windshield or not. After I installed mine, there wasnt as much dust as I thought there was going to be. And I stopped freezing my butt off in the winter.

A half widsheild is great in the colder weather. In the heat (and extreme dust) of the desert is does gather more dust in the cab area. This isn't really that bad but at night the dust collects on the back of the windsheild and makes it pretty hard to see at times. Of course you look over it but not all the time in tight places.

I have a full windshield on mine and it is awesome. It did slow me down alittle as its a billboard. I have a small gap up top close to the cage cover which lets some air go through so the dust collecting isnt as bad as others.
