Stripped front gearbox drain plug

Would greatly appreciate any help as I stripped my 8 mm drain plug on the front gearbox.
Yes, I now know that I should have used anti seize on the the treads.
1. Can I siphon from the fill hole, very little area to get 1/2 tube?
2. Should I try hammering a torx fitting into the stripped 8mm?
3. I did spray some penetrating oil..but should I try heat?
4. Should I try some form of extractor?
Thanks for any and all advice.

If you could get a torx jammed into it and maybe hit it with and impact driver it should break loose.
