Check engine

Recently changed the transmission in my 17 ranger and now the check engine light stays on and the fan is staying on as well. All I did was unplug everything. Any advice would be helpful

110 3 engine temperature sensor voltage high. Make sure the temp sensor on the engine is plugged in. If unplugged it will go into fail

safe and turn on the engine light and fan.
