2016 Ranger Highlifter running hot

Hi All, just wondering what temp any other Highlifters are running at? I am constantly at 204-206 degrees and then the fan kicks on and brings the temp down but as soon as the fan shuts off the temp climbs right back up. I don’t know what a normal temp should be. Thanks

I live in Arizona and I see your temps in summer but in winter, I usually see 195 when underway. Check your radiator for any foreign material blocking the radiator. Might be time for a flush and fill.

Last Spring my 2014 was due a radiator flush and fill and when I got it done, I added "Watter Wetter" to the fluid and I found the recovery rate vastly improved. Any airflow across the radiator either by fan or air flow rapidly cooled the engine down and lowered the operating temp by a few degrees. After almost a year of watching the temp gauge (where I normally leave the gauge set at) I would not run my Ranger without that additive.

Those are normal temperatures. The Thermostat doesn't open until 195 degs on Rangers, and fan is supposed to
come on at 205 degs. Your Ranger is running properly.. Don't think of your Ranger having a cars thermostat.
