I have an 05 ranger 500 with some idle issues. It’s hard starting cold. I found the carb intake boot sucking air and replaced with a genuine Polaris boot. It’s a little better, but once it warms up, it starts to idle higher like it’s sucking air. I can spray carb spray around the base of the cylinder it will idle down and I can get it to die if sprayed enough. Seems like how a 2 stroke would act. Has anyone had similar issues?

Choking it makes it die down and I’ve adjusted it to make sure it’s working properly. Compression is 60 psi. From what I’ve found it should be anywhere between 50-90 due to the decompression valve.
