I have a Ranger 2010 Ranger. I recently had a front diff failure. One side of my output shaft/hub in the diff broke off. This is the part that the axle slides into. The rest of the diff is in good shape, having been recently rebuilt. Because of the early serial number parts are not readily available. Later serial numbers are though. Does anyone have any first hand experience in what the differences are between the early or late of that year. Is it more than the plastic cage. Will the newer parts work in the old diff. A new diff is about $1200, as I am sure that most of you know. Does anyone know where quality used parts can be found other than ebay? I have been a die hard Polaris rider for a long time but it sure isn't easy.
