I have a Ranger 500 and a glacier 2 plow system. I plow a lot up and downhill and while going downhill my plow frame drags and holds the blade up off the ground. I believe the issue is that my mounting bracket is too low and does not raise the frame high enough. Was wondering if I should modify frame or if their is a better mounting bracket that is higher off the ground
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just bought a Glacier II today and worked all evening mounting it, etc. Big snow coming tomorrow. I noticed my pushtube was low to the pavement too. Don't think it will drag. Will test tomorrow.

Thanks Handyhiker. I was pretty sure that I needed to raise the front of the Ranger, was just wondering the best way to do so.

Mine has done well with the 10 inches of snow.
Got the machine high centered in the city snowplow
bank twice though. :)
